How do we extract honey?

Are you wondering how we extract honey and present it to you? Here's what we do.

1. Honey

Honey is a natural sweetener made by bees using the nectar of flowers in Denmark.

2. Nectar storage

The bees store the nectar in the honey's stomach and then return it back to the hive where it is broken down into glucose and fructose by enzymes.

3. Wings ventilation

Bees fan their wings to evaporate some of the water content of the honey, making it thick and making it more like sugar

4. Honey harvest

The bees seal it in hives inside the hive with a wax cap. As we harvest honey, we open the hive and remove the sealed honeycomb frames
